Drive with Style

You may think this is a weird post coming from me – especially as I don’t drive because I’m so bad – but that doesn’t mean I don’t dream about a hot, fancy car. I can talk about cars (as much as football) and as it’s the week running up to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Malaysia, what can be better than to combine my two passions – cars and clothing designers – into one.

Yes, fashion designers have teamed up with cars for the ultimate co-branding and created their vision of the most stylish wheels on the road.

Hermes + Smart:

The luxurious prestigious French brand decided to pair up with Smart car to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Smart Fortwo. The cars come in 10 colors including Hermes signature colors like gold, indigo, and the Hermes orange. The interior is covered in the Hermes signature canvas “toile H.”

Hermes + Bugatti:

Bugatti launches its special edition Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermes and it’s pretty spectacular. With Hermes logo on its front grille and wheels and the Hermes leather finishing interior. What more could you ask from 2 luxury brands?

Versace + Lamborghini:

The new Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 screams out Italiano eleganza. It’s flashy, racy with a V12 engine and Versace signature style logos in super soft nappa leather. This is pure indulgence.

Giorgio Armani + Mercedes Benz:

The limited edition Armani CLS Cabriolet has really set people’s imagination on fire. The interior is in cuoio (a prized saddle leather) with well thought out sports textiles for ventilation throughout. Timeless elegance and luxury quality just oozes from this car.

Diesel + Fiat:

This has to be one of my favorites, funky urban trendy Italian designer Diesel teams up with Fiat to produce a sexy car in the Fiat 500. Denim upholstery, Diesel logos and the 75bhp turbodiesel makes it a smooth and stylish ride.

Prada + Hyundai:

Not to be outdone by the other fashion designers, Prada comes together with Hyundai by launching its limited edition Genesis sedan. Though only 3 of these were made and have been sold, it’s still a nice stylish understated car.

So if you’ve been fantasizing what car to get, then may be one of these designer stylish cars could be for you!
