Justin Berkmann

 Justin Berkmann – Founder, Artistic Director and Resident DJ of the legendary nightclub Ministry of Sound, London born Justin Berkmann is a household name for those in the clubbing industry. Living in New York for 2 years, he discovered the mythical club Paradise Garage in 1986 and his dream was to open a similar one in London thus Ministry of Sound launched in 1991. Justin has traveled the globe, going to 26 countries in 5 continents, and currently as Venues Development Manager he assisted in the opening of Ministry of Sound in Singapore as well as the MoS club called Euphoria in Kuala Lumpur in 2008.


Frog&Princess: What is your favorite boutique/shop?

Justin Berkmann: None, my wife does the shopping, I hate shopping, scarred from being dragged around endless shops as a child.

F&P: Your favorite hotel?

JB: Never stayed anywhere nice enough to be so memorable, list of worst hotels…. endless.

F&P:  Your favorite restaurant?

JB: Pizza Metro Pizza in Clapham & the Duke of Wellington in Marylebone

F&P: Where is your dream holiday destination? 

JB: I.S.S. (International Space Station)

JB: DJing

JB: BBC News

JB: My children

JB: Doing TV interviews and filling out forms

JB: Moving back to London
